How do I make a screenshot on my device?

In some cases, our Service desk may require a screenshot of your screen to help you solve a problem. To capture what’s on your screen at any given time, you can use a combination of keys on your keyboard when you’re on a desktop or laptop computer. When you’re on a mobile device, there’s usually a specific button that lets you capture your screen.

Here are some more specific instructions:

If you’re using a Windows desktop or laptop computer

You can make a screenshot by holding the Windows key and the Shift key at the same time and pressing the ‘S’ key. A thumbnail of the picture will then appear that you can click on to save the image.

On a MacBook
You can hold the Shift key and the Command key and press the ‘3’ key to make a screenshot. A thumbnail of the picture will then appear that you can click on to save the image.
On a smartphone or tablet
You can swipe down from the top of your screen to open a menu with shortcuts. One of these shortcuts should allow you to make a screenshot.

After making a screenshot, you can send it to us in an email or by using the live chat on our website.

You can check out this article to learn where you can find the live chat function on our website.
